Something to Say - Birthday Card

Hello and welcome.  This is my first blog post ever and it has taken me all day to work out how to do it!  But I've finally done it - YAY.

Today's project is a card for my sister - it's her birthday on Wednesday but I know she won't see this before then as I haven't told her I have started blogging.  I thought for my first post I should make something which is pink and dotty to match my blog name.

I used the new Stampin' Up! Dots Decorative Mask to create the background on Crumb Cake cardstock, layered on a card base of Blushing Bride.  I should have taped the mask down as it moved just as I was using my dauber on the final dot in the top left hand corner - hence the addition of a flower to cover up the mistake!!  I used the petite petals punch and the smallest die from the Flower Fair Framelits in the middle.  The leaves are punched in Pistachio Pudding cardstock using the Bird Builder punch.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.
