Stampin' Up! Christmas Gift Box Gingerbread House

Today I wanted to show you a gingerbread house that I made from the same milk carton template that I used to create this Little House Gift Box which I made back in July.

I have listed the supplies that I used at the bottom of this post.

Stampin Up Christmas Gift Box Gingerbread House

It took a while to stick all the bits on and squiggle around with a white pen but I really enjoyed my evening making this little box and I can use it as another hidey hole from my husband for my chocolate!

I used Crumb Cake as the base for the box, Real red for the hearts and Real Red, Hello Honey and Old Olive for the candy sweets.  I sponged White Craft ink on the roof to give it a snowy effect.

The ribbon is Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon which makes tying bows very easy.  I hand cut the windows as I didn't have a square punch small enough and used the Large Oval punch for the door and cut off the bottom.  Again, lots of squiggling with the Signo Uni-Ball pen.

  1. Hi Wendy, I checked back at the July sample and it indicated that you would try to post the measurements and directions on your blog. This would make a perfect gift box for a themed gift I am giving my grandgirlies this year so if you have posted, can you let me know where please. If not, if you plan on doing the instructions, I don't mind paying you a bit for them. thanks

    1. Hi Tammy, you are absolutely right....I forgot to post the instructions. I will get them up on my blog later this week for you. Wendy x

  2. Love this! I also went to look for the instructions lol - look forward to seeing them when you have time. Thanks for sharing xx

    1. Hi Angie, Oops...yes I did put instructions up for the gingerbread house (which is basically the same template for the little house). I will update this post with the link to the instructions before I forget!!

I love to get comments on my blog so thank you for taking the time to say hello! Wendy x
