Stampin' Up! Take Out Box with Matching Card

On Tuesday I made a card using the baby wipe with re-inkers technique HERE.  I made this for a friend whose dad was taken very ill and is now in hospital.  I wanted to give her a little something to brighten her day and so I used one of Stampin' Up!'s Take Out Boxes and stamped it to match.

and here it is with the matching card.....

The label has been stamped with Rich Razzleberry using one of the Chalk Talk stamps and die cut with the matching framelit.  The ribbon is in Rich Razzleberry but is no longer available.

Pretty in Pink Card & New Weekly Deals

I've made a card today that is pretty in pink and uses Stampin' Up!'s Kinda Eclectic stamps.
I first stamped the image using Versamark ink and then applied Stampin' Up!'s white embossing powder.  I have used other embossing powders in the past but, (and I am being objective) I think Stampin' Up!s are the best and are the easiest to get a really good result with.  I then heated the powder with my heat tool until it melted and set.

I then used daubers to apply Pink Pirouette and Strawberry Slush ink over the Naturals White card that I had heat embossed and wiped the ink off the embossed part once I had finished.
The sentiment is from A Dozen Thoughts and is stamped in Strawberry Slush.  I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line it up as I can never stamp sentiments straight.
Don't forget today is the day for NEW Weekly Deals.  Have a look to see what great offers there are below....

I have listed the products I have used to make today's card below the link for the retiring products from the annual catalogue.

Inking with Baby Wipes

I've already shown a card HERE that I made a while ago using baby wipes, a technique that I learned when I went to a Pinkies Stampin' Up! training day.  I really like the result you get using this technique and here is a card I made using the colour combination of Rich Razzleberry and Pink Pirouette.
I used one of the flowers from amazingly enough.....Flower Patch!

Stampin' Up Baby Wipe Technique Card
Put a baby wipe inside an empty DVD case or as I used here a stamp case and using re-inkers of your choice 'splodge' blobs of ink over the baby wipe trying to cover up any white spaces until you have covered an area big enough for the stamp you are going to use.
Then put your stamp onto the baby wipe picking up the ink and stamp onto cardstock.

It's very simple but very effective.

Happy Blooming Monday

Happy Blooming Monday everyone.  Hope you have a lovely weekend.
Flower Patch is still one of my favourite stamp sets from the current Stampin' Up! Catalogue and as I haven't used it for at least 2 days :-) I used it to make today's card!
I totally CASE'd this card from Jodi Collins.  I saw her card on Pinterest and immediately wanted to copy it using Flower Patch.  I changed the colours slightly and this is how it turned out.
Stampin' Up! Flower Patch Happy Birthday Card

I have used the colour combos of Crisp Canteloupe, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Marina Mist, Pistachio Pudding and Wild Wasabi to make the flowers and leaves and then backed it with Crumb Cake and Naturals White card.
