Papermilldirect Design Team Christmas Table Decorations

Today I have made some Christmas table decorations for the latest Papermilldirect Design Team Theme using their Ivory Card which is on special offer at the moment HERE
I decided to make a table lantern and a place card.

Christmas Table Lantern and matching place card
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the design for the lantern.  I had a cut file in my Silhouette software that was actually a Christmas card but I chopped it about a bit (that's my technical term!) & cut and pasted until I had the right size to fit around a jam jar.  I then punched out some stars from some silver glitter card and stuck them to the top of the trees.  I was going to use a battery operated tealight (for safety purposes) inside the jam jar as I didn't want to risk burning down my precious craft room but I couldn't find them so I have used an battery operated candle instead!
I used the same cut file to create the place card and stuck that on top of some silver glitter card.

Here is a photo (not great - sorry) of what the lantern looks like lit up.

Today is my last blog post before Christmas but I wish you all a lovely Christmas wherever in the world you may be and I will be back in the New Year.

Christmas Bunny Place Card

L'il Inker Triangle Treat Box
I wanted L'il Inker's Triangle Treat Holder Die as soon as I saw it and bought the Bunny and Santa dies and stamps to match.  I know bunnies are more of an Easter theme but this particular bunny is an Arctic one so I have used him as a Christmas Bunny Place Card holder!!

You can buy the die from Make the Day Special stamp store but they are closing their website on 20th December and re-opening as Seven Hills (if I remember correctly)in the New Year so I can't add a link to where you can purchase it at the moment but once their website is up and running I will add the link.
I have used Papermilldirect's Ivory card which is on special offer this week.
Back on Wednesday.  Thank you for visiting my blog.

Mama Elephant Woodland Gifts

Hello and today I am not posting anything festive so, for a change,  here is a birthday card I made using a set I have been wanting for a while by Mama Elephant 'Woodland Gifts'.

Rather than have the bear standing up I went for the lying down position as that is what I feel like doing myself at the moment!!
Mama Elephant Woodland Gifts Birthday Card
I coloured the sky using some stamping mask paper with some blue inks from Mama Elephant and then coloured in the bear, mouse and balloon with Copic markers.  The 'Happy Birthday' is from the same Woodland Gifts set.

Christmas Gift Tags

My theme for the Papermilldirect Blog this week is 'Christmas Gift Tags' and I am using a beautiful card that is on offer HERE in their shop - Dark Red.  It's a nice thick 350gsm card so it's also good for making boxes.  I think it goes really well with white so I used Papermilldirect's White Hammered Card as well.

I made 2 different types in a simple Nordic style

I have used some stamps from Waltzing Mouse and Stampin' Up! (Bright and Beautiful which is no longer available) and the ink is Blackberry Bliss by SU which is a good match for the card.

I cut the tags out using Waltzing Mouse Stitched Tags Die and then used the same die to cut a smaller piece out of some tartan patterned paper that I had left over from last year and adhered that to the top of the tag.

Baaaaa Humbug!

Well today my Baaaaa Humbug spirit has come out...I went into town to finish off our Christmas shopping.  The crowds were a nightmare!  So this card reflects how I am feeling at the moment.
Clearly Besotted Feeling Sheepish

I used Clearly Besotted 'Feeling Sheepish' stamps and matching dies to create the sheep (strangely enough) and I cut the sentiment out in my Silhouette Cameo in white card and then topped it with some black and white striped card.  I again used my favourite Papermilldirect White Linen card as a card base.  It cuts beautifully on my Cameo.

Hope you like it.  Supplies are listed below.  Back on Wednesday with some Christmas Gift Tags.

Rudolph Place Card & Matching Wine Bottle Tag

I've gone Rudolph mad just lately and today is no exception.  I've made a Rudolph place card and a matching  wine bottle tag.
I have seen a few Rudolphs created using the Stampin' Up! Owl Builder punch and I have combined them to create this one.....
Rudolph Place Card made using Stampin' UP! Owl Builder Punch

I used the owl punch for the face, eyes and also the tips of the ears which is the little heart cut in half.  His nose is punched a ½" circle punch and the antlers are from SU Flower Fair Framelits.
Rudolph Wine Bottle Tag made with Stampin' Up! Owl Builder Punch

The wine bottle tag is made by cutting a strip of card that is 6" x 2½" and scoring at 2¼" and then using a 1¾" punch and adding a scallop circle punched out of a 2¾" punch.

I've stamped my name using SU Just Perfect Alphabet stamps - which is no longer available and the card is Post Box Red and Buff both from Papermilldirect.  If you go HERE you will find that the Post Box Red & their Dark Green card is being offered at 30% off at the moment!

Hope you like them.
