Distress Ink Cards

Last week I saw a post by Jennifer McGuire (my crafting heroine!) HERE where she used Distress Ink and water to create an amazing effect.  I thought I would give it a go and although mine don't turn out anywhere near as amazing as Jennifer's, I had fun making them.

I made this card as part of Papermilldirect's Design Team for their blog Inspire

Distress Ink and water technique to make a card

I only have 5 Distress Ink colours.  I have a HUGE wish list and more distress inks are on that list so I made do with what I had.

I used Tumbled Glass for the card above and Worn Lipstick for the one below.

Jennifer has a great video on her blog so check out how she does this technique.  I have to say making these cards was really quick and I do love how they turned out.

The stamp set is by Stampin' Up! and is called Bloom with Hope and I believe it's no longer available.

Papermilldirect also have an offer card this week - Green Baize.  You can get a small box of approximately 80 A4 sheets (270gsm) for only £5.50.  Click HERE to view the offer and HERE to see what the other Design Team members have created on the blog.

Thank you for stopping by.  Back on Friday.
