Today's card is one I made for the weekly blog post as a design team member over on Papermilldirect's blog Inspire.
The theme this week was Mother's Day. I have already made one for my mum (which featured on Monday's blog post) and so this one will be for my mother-in-law who is equally as lovely.
I started off by cutting a card base from White Linen card and then using Reverse Confetti's Flower Wrap die cut out in Coniston Blue card which is on special offer this week at Papermilldirect (50% off).
I stamped the flowers from Reverse Confetti's Garden Bunch. Although they are easy to line up I was hoping my Misti stamping tool would have arrived to make it even easier...maybe it will be delivered this week?!!
I was going to just use different shades of blue for the flowers but changed my mind and went with pinks and yellows too. The leaves are cut using dies in the same set as well as the cute tag.
I cut out the top panel using Reverse Confetti's 'Edgers' dies and the bottom part that was left, I ran through my Big Shot with a large dot embossing folder although it doesn't show up too well in the photo.
I heat embossed the sentiment in white and tied the tag onto the flower wrap using some Baker's twine.
Please hop on over to the blog to see what the other design team members have created.
I have listed the products below used to make today's card.
