Perfectly Plaid - Lawn Fawn

Hello there.  I made this card a while back using one of my current favourite paper packs from Lawn Fawn 'Perfectly Plaid' which I cut out using my favourite WPlus9 Sunshine Layers scallop rectangle.
It's one of those cards which I wasn't sure I liked when I had finished making it and I'm still not sure which is why it took a while for me to post it on my blog.
Card using Clearly Besotted Happy Birthday and Reverse Confetti Garden Bunch
The flowers were stamped using Reverse Confetti's Garden Bunch and the leaves were from an old Sizzix die.
I stamped the 'Birthday' sentiment from Clearly Besotted 'Happy Birthday' and cut it out using the matching die, heat embossed the 'happy' onto some black cardstock and tied a piece of white twine around the end.
Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Paper pack used to make a birthday card.
A few sequins dotted about from Lucy's Things, some double sided foam tape and it was finished.
Still not sure about it.........maybe I should have left the leaves off?!!!

I hope you have a great weekend and thank you for visiting my blog.

  1. nope...the leaves are perfect and you inspired me today to do some heat embossing...something I don't bother with much but love it !! I love this card. Also have the Lawn Fawn plaid pack and only half left. Love the soft plaids.

    1. Thanks Marilyn. I am trying to heat emboss more so I'm glad I inspired you. I love the plaid pack so much I am reluctant to use it but then I ask myself why did I buy it?!!! :-)

I love to get comments on my blog so thank you for taking the time to say hello! Wendy x
