Anniversary Card in a rush! So Tweet

Today is our wedding anniversary and yesterday afternoon I realised I hadn't made my husbean an anniversary card.  I'd bought him a present but totally forgotten about the card so I had to make it in a rush this evening, in poor light and when my eyes were tired.  OK so the excuses are out of the way....here is the card:-

Winnie and Walter So Tweet

I used some dies to cut the scalloped frame and the inner opening frame and used a circle punch to cut out a recess at the bottom and I then layered it with some patterned paper.  I did a bit of masking and quickly sponged a sky and then stamped my bird.

I coloured it in using Copic markers (I can see where I went outside the lines a bit but my eyes were tired :-)), added a bit of Wink of Stella sparkle to her tummy and punched out a few sparkly hearts.

You may also have noticed that the bird appears to be balancing on one foot on the branch!!!!  That'll teach me not to rush!

The sentiment was partially fussy cut, coloured in with copics and mounted onto some foam.

I hope my husbean likes it.  We are going out to our favourite Greek restaurant tonight to celebrate - yum!
