Challenge Winner and Petite Plushies Swing Fold Card

Well knock me down with a feather....I found out on Saturday that I had won the Seven Hills Crafts monthly challenge.  I was so excited I did a happy dance, squealed and then ran into the garage where my husband was building a dovecote, screaming that I had won!!  Probably not a good idea when he's using a blade saw!!  YAY!  My prize is £15 to spend in the Seven Hills Crafts shop which is where I buy most of my stamping goodies.    You can see my entry here.  I have calmed down now....well a little bit anyway!

On to today's card.....

Clearly Besotted Petite Plushies Gate Fold Card

As part of Papermilldirect Design Team, I had to make a swing fold card for their blog this week which you can see HERE and it has inspired me to make another one using a stamp set by Clearly Besotted called 'Petite Plushies'.
I cut out the card base using my Silhouette Cameo and then created a frame to go around the outside of the 'flip' part.
I heat embossed a woodgrain effect onto the frame and one of the front panels.  You may notice those very artfully placed leaves on the front panel.  Did I place them there to add to the jungle scene or were they put there to cover up where I had missed the embossing powder with my heat gun and smudged it?!!!!!!!

Big Grrrrrr!

  3. Hi,

Love the card, would you have a link to the card template you used for the silhouette cameo?

    1. Hi Tracy, here's the link to the Silhouette Store where I bought the file:-
If you don't have an account there then you could possibly get it from Lori Whitlock's website as she is the designer. It is called a 3D Flip Swing Card Basic

    2. Thank you, I have an account with them as buy a lot of templates for card making and presents.

      Love the giraffes :)

I love to get comments on my blog so thank you for taking the time to say hello! Wendy x
