Watercolour Birthday Card

This is a watercolour birthday card I made a while ago but due to a lack of time at the moment, I haven't posted it on my blog until now

.  I am still enjoying playing around with my watercolours and so I have made a card which is similar to one I made a while ago and again, I have used my Silhouette Cameo.
Watercolour birthday card made using Silhouette Cameo
I used a cut file from the Silhouette shop and tweaked it a bit and made a frame to go around it.
I used my Winsor & Newton Professional (certainly doesn't apply to me!!) Water Colours and worked out roughly where the cut out panel would go on top so that I could put my wash of colours of the roses and leaves in the right place.
I cut the word 'Wishes' from the WPlus9 Happy Wishes dies and then put some Glossy Accents on top to make it dimensional and shiney.

That's all for today.  I've got my sister and her husband coming for the weekend so lots to do!

  1. Oh! this is GORGOEUS, love how you have a stencilled look and the glossy sentiment is perfect for it. Love it.
    Enjoy your visitors this weekend.

  2. Wow this is so beautiful, love how you have done it. The watercolour wash is perfect as is the layout.
