Less is More Challenge - Something Tactile

As I have been out of crafting for a couple of months I haven't entered any challenges for a while so this card has been made for the Less is More Challenge Weeks 286 & 287

RECIPE:  Use Something Tactile

As soon as I read the word 'tactile' I knew that I had to use the 'Ewe Are The Best' stamps by MFT and my Liquid Applique.  I'm a big kid at heart & I love using this stuff and watching it fluff up as I blast it with my heat gun!!

I also added some Glossy Accents to the balloon and die cut the word 'celebrate' which is by Clearly Besotted.  They are mounted onto a panel cut out from WPlus9 Sunshine Layers which is foam mounted onto a white card base.

I coloured the sheep and balloon using Copic markers and added a few spots to the hat using a white pigment gel pen.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.  I am staying with my sister in Oxford this weekend and shall be giving my niece a couple of presents I have made for her baby due in November....blog post on Monday.  I hope she and her husband likes them.  I am really pleased with how they turned out :-)

  1. AWESOME. What a fantastic product! I love how it's puffed up and done such perfect 'wool'! The textured cardstock adds a great hint of texture in the background too. Fab LIM entry, thanks so much!

  5. This is brilliant Wendy. That liquid appliqué must be so much fun to use (if I had it, it would appear on everything!) I adore those sheep and your card is so perfectly CAS too. The glossy accents add to the tactile nature of the card. Lovely to see you back at Less is More.
