Hello Sunshine

The sun came out on Tuesday and although it was cold, it inspired me to make this card.

Distress ink blended card made with Copic markers

I have used 3 separate stamp sets - the bunny is from Create a Smile 'Eggstraordinary Egghunt', the flowers are from MFT Build-able Bouquet and the hello sunshine sentiment is from WPlus9 Sending Sunshine.

I used Ripe Persimmon and Mustard Seed Distress Inks to create the background and coloured in the grass panel with Copics, and then cut with MFT Grassy Fields die.

WPlus9 Sending Sunshine used with MFT Build-able Bouquet and Create a Smile Eggstraordinary Egghunt

I cut the sentiment out twice using some black foam and white card and then layered them together to give it some dimension.

I added some Glossy Accents to the bunny's nose and also to the flowers but as I was pressed for time, I took these photos while the Glossy Accents was still wet so I had to be VERY careful not to smudge it!!

I used some Arches Aquarelle Rough Watercolour card that my mum had.  The distress inks blend really well on it but it is too rough to get a good stamp impression.  I have ordered some Strathmore Bristol Smooth card that hopefully will come this week as I have heard that it is also great to use with Zigs.  Looking forward to trying that out.

Toodles for now noodles...
