Squishy Hugs

I have had a lovely, relaxing crafting weekend and managed to make 4 cards!!  That must be a new record for me as I struggle to find time to make one!

Less is More Challenge 'Alphabet' and CASology challenge 'Romance'

I have seen cards where the die cut words have been stamped on and wanted to try it myself.  I didn't have a large 'A' so I cut it out on my Silhouette Cameo.

I then used some stamps from a couple of sets.  The flowers are from MFT Build-able Bouquet and the leaf sprigs are by Winnie and Walter 'So Tweet'.

I roughly coloured them in with copic markers and added a blog of Glossy Accents to the centre of each flower.

LIM Challenge - Alphabet and CASology challenge - Romance

I heat embossed the sentiment which is from Waltzing Mouse 'Gift Card It' and then die cut a frame out of grey card using my favourite MFT Cross Stitch Rectangles.

I am entering this card into a couple of challenges:-

I also discovered that the card I entered into last week's Less is More challenge was showCASed...yay!  I tend to make a lot of cutesie animal cards and find flowery cards a struggle sometimes so it was nice to see it was one of the showcase winners.

You can see that HERE

Toodles for now...

  14. This is beautiful, Wendy. Love the idea of stamping on the big die cut, and one thing I want to add to my stash is some grey card, it seems to work so well with every shade.
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
