Turtley Awesome

Hello.  I hope you had a good weekend.  We had snow here in the Peak District and it was very cold so it was ideal weather to stay in and play with some new stamps and dies that I got last week.  I have only recently discovered Sunny Studio and their latest release is what prompted me to buy this set called 'Turtley Awesome'.  The other set I wanted was out of stock :-(

Sunny Studio Turtley Awesome stamps
I started off by colouring a background using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers onto some Strathmore Bristol Smooth card which is great for these markers as it blends so easily.  I smooshed them with a bit of water and then let it dry.
I then cut it out using some cross stitched circles by Rox Stamps that I bought from Swedish House Crafts.  They are a company based here in the UK who import stamps and dies from Sweden at very reasonable prices.

I coloured the turtles with copics along with the present and cut them out using the matching dies.
I die cut a frame to match the background and layered it onto a piece of white card which I then adhered to some grey striped card.
The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed using clear embossing powder.
Here are some links to the products I have used today:-
