Hello and I hope you have had a good weekend. As the weather was awful, I disappeared into my craft room to make a card for the latest challenge over at Less is More which is:-
I don't have much washi tape - I tend to only use it to decorate envelopes but I added a strip to some white card cut out using a cross stitched die and this is what I came up with......
I have used a mouse from The Greeting Farm 'Let's Mingle (again!) and coloured both him & the balloon with my Zig clean color brush markers and a little bit of water. Actually make that mouse a 'her' as I can't see a man wearing a red spotted top like that one...well my husband definitely wouldn't anyway!)
The balloon was die cut using an old Stampin' Up! framelits die. After I had coloured the balloon I decided it needed a bit of shhpaarkle so I liberally covered it in Versamark ink and then heat embossed with some luscious sparkly embossing powder.
And here is a close up of the balloon....
The Greeting Farm - Let's Mingle
Taylored Expressions - Wish Big (balloon string & birthday sentiment)
Lawn Fawn - Happy Happy Happy & matching dies
MFT - Cross Stitched Rectangle dies
Wow - Clear Sparkle Embossing Glitter
Strathmore Bristol Smooth Card
Papermilldirect - White Smooth & Mustard card
Please hop on over to the challenge to see what the very talented LIM designers have come up with.
