Less Is More Challenge - Guest Designer

Hello there.  Today I have the honour of being the Guest Designer over at the Less is More Challenge which this week is:-
http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.co.uk/

It could be anything you see or anything you dream of on a Spring walk, so this is what I would love to see floating past me in a stream on a lovely Spring day!  Actually, if I did see this little mouse I would think I'd had too much wine the night before!!

House Mouse Designs Cake stamp

I have used a House-Mouse stamp that I haven't used before called 'Cake'.  It was one I bought ages ago and thought it fitted the Spring theme.  The sentiment is from another House-Mouse set called Daffodil.

I have used my Zigs to watercolour the ickle mouse and his 'boat' in some Spring colours.

Finally I cut out the top layer of the card using a die and mounted it using foam tape to a white card base.

I hope you like the card for this challenge and please hop on over to the Less is More blog to see the amazing cards that the very talented design team have come up with.

  1. I absolutely love your card Wendy! The scene with the mouse is adorable and I can just imagine him punting down a stream on a spring day... though it might make me rub my eyes too! Fab colouring which gives a lovely fresh bright feel to the card. Thanks so much for being a wonderful guest designer for us at Less is More and have a great week! :)

  8. Congratulations on guest designing at LIM, Wendy! Your rowing mouse is so adorable for spring! The Mister would tell you I wouldn't blink an eye if I saw this darling critter. I would just kneel down and start a conversation like I do with our hummers and lizzies! I love it! Hugs and Happy Easter! Darnell
