Seaside Seagulls - MFT

I haven't had much time lately to blog as I have been making my niece's christening invitations and also some bits and bobs for a ball we go to every year so I  probably won't be back to regular blogging for the next couple of weeks.

However, I did see this stamp set from the new release by MFT that caught my eye as I thought the sentiment was great fun and snaffled it up before it sold out.

I have also used the Rectangle Peek a Boo Window by MFT and some distress inking for the background.  The bird was coloured using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.
A very quick and simple card.

My husband is whisking me away for a mini break this week - I have no idea where he is taking me & he always gives me clues when we set off as to where we are going but I have never managed to work them out.  It is a total surprise, which is exciting...but also worrying!!!!     He is very adventurous and has no fears so when I saw him looking at the longest Zip Wire experience I started to get worried!!!!  I love speed but not the 500 feet above ground aspect so I hope he was winding me up about that!!!!!!!  That would definitely NOT make me as happy as a seagull with a chip!

I thought that this card would fit in with this week's challenge at Less is More which is
I also found out that I was a LIM showcase winner (yay) for the card I made here

I love how you included the background and foreground as part of your scene, and your colouring of the gull is fab. Gulls are a real pest where I live but I think this set is a must for my stash! How exciting to be whisked away somewhere unknown, can't wait to here the details :)
