Roll on Retirement!!

I am not a tidy crafter and my craft room usually looks like a tornado has swept through it after I have finished making a card, but amazingly my desk is really tidy after making this card which came together really quickly.

I am entering this card into Less is More's new challenge this week which is:-

Taylored Expressions Clocked Out Grumplings

I have used Taylored Expressions 'Clocked Out Grumplings' to make this card along with an old Stampin' Up! set of mine Painted Petals to stamp the watercoloured lines with Lawn Fawn Fish Tank ink.

The sentiment is also from the same Grumplings set and that was stamped using Lawn Fawn Lobster and Fish Tank ink.  I used my Misti to stamp each part of the sentiment in different inks.

Retirement card made using Taylored Expressions Clocked Out Grumplings

This might be the only blog post I manage this week as my husband and I are taking a week off to clear the bottom of our garden  and also re-lay the path which means a skip hire and lots of carrying to and fro.  I'm his dog-body and tea maker!!

Have a great week and hop on over to the Less is More challenge blog to see what the DT have come up with this week.

  1. This card is just adorable, Wendy. I am hoping this set is still available. I have two friends retiring soon. Keep up the fun stuff !! I usually have to sift through the "rubble" after I am in my craft room for awhile. Too bad clean up duty comes after crafting.

  3. This card is just too cute. I love the kitty in his easy chair and the sentiment is probably the best I have ever seen for a retirement card. I love the humor.

  7. Your card made me laugh, Wendy ! I love the cat's grumpy face and the perfect sentiment which goes with it ! The background lines make me think of the scratches of a cat on a wall, so fab !
